Last updated: 10 October 2026 (draft)
Draft for review. Items marked [TO CONFIRM] must be filled in by the site owner before launch. This text describes how this version of the site works today.
1. Who is responsible
The website photographerparisin.com is operated by Alexander, photographer in Paris.
Legal name / business name: [TO CONFIRM]
Registered address: [TO CONFIRM]
Business registration number (SIRET): [TO CONFIRM]
Contact for privacy requests: [TO CONFIRM — email address]; or WhatsApp: message me.
2. What data I collect and why
When you send a request through a form on this site, I receive what you type into it: name, email, WhatsApp or phone number, type of photoshoot, desired date and your message. I use it only to answer your request, check availability and arrange a photoshoot. You confirm your consent with a checkbox before sending.
If you write to me on WhatsApp or Instagram, the messages are handled by those services under their own terms and privacy policies; I see the name and number or account you write from.
3. Services used by the site
- Hosting and forms. This test version is hosted on Netlify, which also receives form submissions on my behalf. Hosting provider for the live site: [TO CONFIRM].
- Fonts. Fonts are served from this website itself; your browser does not connect to Google or other font services.
- Bookings, private galleries and reviews. These run on Cloudflare; the data is stored in the European Union.
- Cookies and analytics. This version does not set analytics or advertising cookies. If analytics or similar tools are added, this policy and a consent banner will be updated before they are switched on.
- Links. Buttons to WhatsApp and Instagram open those services; their privacy policies then apply.
4. Legal basis
Your consent (sending the form with the checkbox ticked) and steps taken at your request before a contract for a photoshoot is concluded.
5. How long data is kept
[TO CONFIRM — retention period for enquiries and for client data after a photoshoot].
6. Sharing and transfers
I do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers listed above, which may process it outside the European Economic Area: [TO CONFIRM — safeguards used by each provider].
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact me using the details in section 1. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
8. Photographs of clients
Photographs of clients are not published without the client’s permission. The terms for delivering and storing photographs: [TO CONFIRM].
9. Changes
This policy may be updated; the date at the top shows the latest version.
